Advice is worth most before the first line of code is written. A scope drawn wrong or a TOR with gaps costs many times more than the consulting would have, because the problems surface at acceptance — the hardest point to fix anything.
How we work
We start by understanding the organisation's goals and constraints, then write them up as something you can use — a scope, a TOR, or a system assessment report — rather than opinions left in a meeting room.
Billing is by the hours actually spent, with an estimate of the hours agreed before work begins.
Independence
When asked to review another vendor's TOR or quotation, we give an opinion on the facts. If an off-the-shelf product or another vendor would suit you better, we will say so.
